These derelict Arcons are on a GLC estate at Debden, Essex. Its curved roof made the Arcon the most distinctive of the prefabs. 38,859 Arcons were produced by the builders Taylor Woodrow, making it one of the most popular types. An example has been restored at the Avoncroft Museum of Building near Bromsgrove, Worcesteshire.
