| Caption: |
The house was built in 1770 by William Fermor and designed by Robert Mylne, but demolished in 1960. Before 1770 another house stood in its place, from which the dovecote still remains. The front entrance steps were removed in 1858 by William Burn, who also added an office-wing to the north.
