Caption: King Edward III died 1377. His altar-tomb is is the Chapel of St Edward the Confessor behind the high altar of Westminster Abbey. It has six niches on each side holding figures of each of his 12 children; this detail represents Lionel, Duke of Clarence, one of the weepers.
