Caption: Built in 1802, allegedly on the site of the last resting place of an ancient warrior (the unearthed remains and sword disappeared while the workmen were at lunch), this smock mill was worked up until the 1880s. It then fell into disrepair and it was not until 1936 that sufficient funds were raised to restore the mill.
