Windmills are not only a feature of rural areas. This tower mill is still standing in Brixton, south London. Erected in 1816, it ceased operation by wind power in 1860 when a steam engine was installed. The machinery in the mill came from West End Mill, Burgh le Marsh, Lincolnshire.
