Tithe Barn, Frocester Gloucestershire

Reference Number: AA024869
Caption: This tithe barn was reputedly built by the Abbot John de Gamages in about 1300 AD. The features of the building support this date. Parts of it may be built of stone reused from a Roman villa site nearby. The barn is one of the most important of it kind in England, and is also one of the best preserved.
